When you unlock a mobile phone all you are doing is removing the service provider / network operator phone lock. This then enables your phone to work with an alternate network sim card. Once a phone has been unlocked you can use any network sim card in the phone.Freedom to choose the network that works for you! Without having to buy a new phone.
